Specialty Occupational Therapist

Role and Facility Information

This Occupational Therapist is a primary care position. Primary care clinics play a vital role in supporting the overall health and well-being of patients. Their work is integral to addressing various needs and helping patients manage daily activities despite physical, mental, or cognitive challenges. The Occupational Therapist provides patient assessment and evaluation; develops treatment plans; implements interventions; provides education and training within a collaborative care environment. This position offers a broad scope of practice, including rehabilitation from injuries, chronic disease management, mental health support, and assistance for aging-related challenges.

Days of work are Monday to Friday; 08:00 to 16:00 hours.

Qualifications
• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Full practicing registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• Practice specific requirements and experience in programs applicable to practice area.
• Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
