Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering patient-centered care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population across the lifespan
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Promote preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management
• Coordinate care with specialists and allied health professionals to support integrated patient care
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic investigations (e.g., labs, imaging, ECGs)
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records within the EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and, if desired, teaching or mentoring activities
• Contribute to after-hours call coverage in accordance with CPSBC requirements

Qualifications:
• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP or equivalent)
• Eligible for independent medical licensure in British Columbia
• Strong clinical skills in providing comprehensive primary care
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient relationship-building skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Experience working within team-based or community primary care settings
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered practice and ongoing professional development
