Role and Facility Information

I am looking for a family physician associate to join my family practice. This physician would have their ownset of unique patients so they can bill using the LFP model. The associate can work in the office 2-2.5 daysper week when I am not in the office and can work virtual for the other 2-2.5 days. Our office and I wouldactively help build the associate's medical practice. We receive many calls daily from the public inquiringabout acceptance of new patients but I also have 2000 patients who can help spread the word about a newdoctor accepting patients.

Open to considering the following practice arrangements to fill this family physician (FP) vacancy:
1. Permanent Full-time FPs
2. Permanent Part-time FPs
3. Locum-to-Permament FPs (FPs seeking to trial various practice settings prior to securing a clinical home & beginning to build a patient panel)

Role Requirements: On-call obligations

Schedule flexibility: Open to considering partial or reduced hours.

EMR Expectations: Software training & support available on-site.

Payment Model Option: Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP)

Estimated Remuneration
Renumeration depends on hours worked and their LFP billing to GOV BC but can range up to potentially $800,000 plus with bonuses once the practice is established.
Physician Overhead
For the first 1- 1.5 years, while the associate is building their practice, I would only expect 20% of billings tocontribute to the overhead. Once the associate's practice is established their would an expectation to sharehalf of the costs of the rent. payment of staff, medical supply costs, parking fees, etc.
