Northern Health is seeking a Family Practitioner with a Special Interest in Oncology in Quesnel, BC.

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practitioner with a special interest in oncology to provide comprehensive primary care services while supporting cancer care initiatives in the region. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values innovation, continuity of care, and patient-centered practice. Compensation will be provided if training is required.
The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with local specialists, BC Cancer, and regional health authorities to enhance oncology services in Quesnel. Responsibilities include managing a family practice panel, participating in cancer screening and follow-up care, and contributing to the development of local oncology pathways. Opportunities for telehealth, continuing education, and mentorship are available to support your professional growth in this specialized area.

GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a 45 bed acute care facility. Services on-site include:
- Internal medicine
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Otolaryngology
- General Surgery
- Psychiatry
- Community Cancer Clinic
GR Baker recently completed a 27 million dollar expansion to the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. This has improved patient flow, access to imaging and labs, security, privacy & confidentiality, and the alignment of critical care services and staff between the ED and ICU.
