Role and Facility Information

The Peace Arch Hospital Emergency Department is seeking part-time, and full-time Emergency Physicians to join our collegial and well-supported team. We maintain great relationships with all specialty and hospitalist groups within our hospital, making it a very positive working environment.

The emergency department has over 55,000 visits annually and projected to increase to 70,000 by 2030 due to rapid population growth in the White Rock/South Surrey area. We have access to a full range of diagnostic services including 24/7 access to CT, Ultrasound and MRI. Local and regional subspecialty support is excellent.

Remuneration is fee for service, which is excellent in our ER due to our great patient flow.

Candidates will be certified in Emergency Medicine with either the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP-EM), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC). The successful applicant must be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.

Peace Arch Hospital (PAH) is a 188 bed hospital in White Rock, BC, offering medical, surgical, acute geriatric, obstetrics, palliative, psychiatric and telemetry services as well as 24/7 emergency services with after-hours emergency surgery with over 53,000 visits annually.
