Role and Facility Information
We are seeking a full-time Family Physician to join our maternity department at Peace Arch Hospital. We are a collegial group who work closely with our obstetricians, pediatricians and midwifery groups.
The Family Physicians working at the Peace Arch Maternity Clinic are a collaborative and collegial team, providing mentorship and support for oncoming physicians. Peace Arch Hospital delivers 1,000 babies per year. The majority of primary care obstetrics and labour management is done by our family physician group, with our obstetricians providing consultative support. We are proud of our reputation of being a boutique hospital, delivering excellent personalized and compassionate maternity care.
White Rock/South Surrey is a sunny, beach community about a 30-minute drive from Vancouver. We have great schools and recreation facilities, outdoor activities, and many different shops and restaurants. We are a burgeoning community with young families. We are also located on the US border and close to a major ferry terminal. We welcome site visits to our community and hospital and will be happy to organize this. Locum time is also available to develop a feel for our wonderful hospital and community. There are also opportunities to engage in resident teaching.
We have an urgent need in our community. Anticipated start date is August 1, 2025 or sooner.

Provisional license is acceptable and supervision available for US board certified physicians.
