Role and Facility Information
We are seeking a compassionate and community-oriented Nurse Practitioner (Family) to serve as the primary care provider for Simpcw First Nation members, both on and off reserve. In this meaningful role, you’ll provide trauma-informed, person-centered care across the lifespan—from newborns to Elders—supporting wellness, continuity of care, and equitable access to health services. When capacity allows, care may also extend to other Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members, reflecting a welcoming and inclusive approach to local health needs. Care is primarily delivered at the Simpcw First Nation Health Centre, with occasional home visits to ensure accessible, relationship-based care.
Hours: 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday.
Location: The position will be based at a single clinic. Simpcw First Nation Territory, 500 Dunn Lake Road, Barriere, BC
Salary range for the position is $74.74/hour - $82.21/hour. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant.

Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience
• Current registration and exam-qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
