Excellent Earning Potential One Hour From Vancouver with Optional Hospital Privileges
Job Details: Clinic is looking for full-time Family Physicians to join their Busy Family Practice and Walk-in clinic. Clinic is open Monday - Saturday, and the physician can expect to see 40-50 patients per day. Services provided include urgent and walk-in care such as suturing, casting, wart treatment, prescription renewals as well as full service family practice involving the management of complex diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, lung disease and Well- Women care. The clinic uses Arya EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 75/25, and the range of potential annual earnings is $250,000-$400,000. The medical office assistant staff is experienced and seasoned.
Additional Information: Hospitalist work and ER shifts are available at the local hospital, as are OR assists at a hospital nearby. Nursing home visits are available as well.
Clinic Details: The clinic has three full time family physicians working there. It is 2000 sq. ft with 7 exam rooms plus one treatment room set up for small procedures and an additional 600 sq. ft of upstairs storage and office workspace. Mission is a friendly medical community with approximately 25 Family Physicians.
The facility is in an excellent central location with ample parking for walk in traffic. The location provides medical care to communities throughout the Fraser Valley including Mission, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge, Aldergrove, Langley, Chilliwack and Agassiz. There are over 4000 families in the area without a Family Physician. In the Mission/Abbotsford area, all specialties are available except neurosurgery and cardiac surgery. Easy referrals to specialists in Abbotsford or Maple Ridge.
Mission is a one hour drive from Vancouver and is a fast growing community with the West Coast Commuter rail to Vancouver located right in Mission. Mountains, trails, parks, lakes, and ocean are all within one hour for outdoor enthusiasts.
Requirements:
• Postgraduate training from Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or USA
• Eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians Canada (CFPC)
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
