Role and Facility Information
Foundry is removing barriers and increasing access to health and wellness services for young
people ages 12–24 and their caregivers through a network of innovative youth-friendly centres
across British Columbia and online. By offering integrated mental health care, substance use
services, primary and sexual health care, youth and family peer support and social services,
Foundry makes it easier for young people to find support in their communities. Online resources
and first-of-its-kind virtual care further broaden Foundry's reach.
SHARE Family & Community Services (SHARE) is the lead agency for Foundry Tri-Cities and is
focused on integrating health care into a community-based social service setting. This approach
allows us to be flexible and creative in our ability to meet multiple needs of youth in one location.
Fraser Health Authority’s Mental Health and Substance Use Services are co-located with us in the
centre and will be integrated into the Tri-Cities Foundy centre model which includes Youth
Concurrent Disorders, Early Psychosis, and START. The model also includes Youth Outreach
Workers and Peer Support Workers employed by SHARE, as well as an integrated youth drop-in
providing social and recreational programming.
