Role and Facility Information

We are a physician-led team of seven collegial family physicians seeking a new colleague with an interest in after-hours care. Our clinic was established and fully renovated in 2021 and features large, well-appointed examination rooms, a spacious charting area, and free on-site parking. We are fully integrated within the Primary Care Network, offering strong administrative and clinical support.

We are pleased to offer a discounted flat-rate overhead of $60,000 per year for a physician interested in working non-traditional hours, including evenings (after 3:00 PM) and/or weekends.

This opportunity is highly flexible and can be tailored to your interests and practice style. Options include:

Establishing an after-hours longitudinal care panel
Providing urgent care coverage using LFP locum billing
A hybrid model combining both approaches

Community Information

The town of Sidney, population 11,600, located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, is approximately 20 kilometers north of British Columbia's capital, Victoria. Several elementary, middle, and secondary schools, including French immersion, are available in the area.

With its mild climate, the community is a well-known tourist destination offering pursuits ranging from exploring the Ocean Discovery Centre and a historical museum, to water-related activities such as sailing, kayaking, diving, fishing and whale watching.
