A busy clinic located steps from English Bay, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner for a Maternity Leave Coverage.
Job specifics:
- Patient Panel: a lovely 800 patient panel in the West End in Vancouver, with an emphasis on young families and pediatrics (~20% of the panel is <18yrs old).
- Schedule: telehealth two days per week and see patients in person three days per week. There are three other amazing NPs at this clinic who are happy to help provide support and vacation coverage, as well as four FPs. 35hrs/wk approximately.
- Open to discussing shorter duration of coverage, or possibly part time coverage, so please apply if interested.
- Provisional NPs also welcome to apply – OSCE reimbursement can be provided through CPD funding.
They are a hybrid family practice that is supported by a nurse practitioner. The clinic has multiple exam rooms and 5 physicians working in the clinic. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. The patient population is diverse, ranging from seniors to the LGBTQ community to students. The tourist population also delivers many private pay patients to physicians servicing the walk-in clinic.
