Role and Facility Information

We are seeking physicians to take over two well-established panels of patients (~1300-1400 each). We are a teaching clinic for UBC medical students and residents, and willing to train/teach to increase your skills as well (eg. office procedures). Two of the physicians (Dr Helen Chen and Dr. Winnie Su) are looking to reduce their practices. We have a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics. Family Practice Obstetrics is an option if desired but not necessary.

Flexible daily hours: 2-5 days per week (office is open 830 am to 5 pm)

Kits Family Practice, a physician-owned group family practice in Kitsilano, is looking to expand their team. They are a full-scope family practice that also offers OBGYN, pediatrics, prenatal and postnatal care, and procedures. This spacious and modern clinic has 6 exam rooms and a physician’s office, with 3 part-time physicians working in the clinic. The clinic conducts appointments both in person and virtually. The patient population is diverse, and our services include prenatal care, women’s healthcare (IUDs, endometrial biopsies), all vaccinations, joint injections, skin biopsies, and other office procedures.

Parking/Bike/Transit information: Free underground parking available. Easily accessible by transit (No.9 Broadway bus route or No. 16 bus route Arbutus Street)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Other relevant information: Very collegial and supportive office environment. Excellent medical office assistants. As a teaching clinic, we often have residents on site, and patients are used to having junior colleagues and trainees. Lifelabs and West Coast Medical Imaging are 5 blocks away.
