Role and Facility Information
Oakridge Medical Vancouver, a well-established and newly renovated clinic in the developing Oakridge area, is looking to grow their team. They are a full-scope family practice. The clinic has 4 exam rooms and 2 offices with 5 physicians working in the clinic part-time. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. The patient population is full-spectrum. Also available for patients bimonthly, is a physician who specializes in muscular skeletal injuries, and a nurse who specializes in incontinence.
Parking/Bike/Transit information: Easily accessible by transit via the Canada line and major bus routes, free physician parking is available
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible Hours Available), with an option to work Saturday, 11:00 AM- 5:00 PM
The space can accommodate part-time or full-time.
Job Specifics
Takeover of a panel due to a part-time physician moving away after 15 years, and an older physician downsizing their practice.
An excellent opportunity is available for a Permanent Family Physician to take over a well-established full-spectrum family practice. This is a collaborative environment within a modern newly renovated clinic.
Clinical Focus and Services:
Full-spectrum family practice, including pediatrics, adult, and geriatric care
Women’s health services: antenatal care, contraception and IUD insertion, endometrial biopsy, and menopause management
Minor in-office procedures: laceration repair, skin biopsies, tendon and joint injections
Routine childhood and adult immunizations
Antenatal care provided (deliveries no longer performed)
