Role and Facility Information

Full service family practice in a FP clinic. Procedure room on-site for lumps and bumps. Shared call coverage for local LTC facility across the street. A collegial group of five FPs and and one NP. We also have an LPN on site three days per week. Social worker attached to practice via PCN.

Start Date:

- September 1, 2025 (negotiable)

Remuneration:

- FFS , LFP with Rural incentives noted below

Overhead:

- Approximately 23%

Benefits:

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (full-time)
Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
Fee Premium: 4.20%
Annual Flat Fee: $6,508.80
Rural CME: starting at $2,200.00/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $4,400.00/annum after 4 years.

Chemainus is a picturesque community on the east side of Vancouver Island, a one-hour drive north of Victoria. There is easy access to all amenities a person could need as well as airports and ferry service nearby. The outdoor recreation options are endless; hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, golf, etc. A vibrant cultural scene is available as well. Good schools and children's activities make it a great place to raise a family as well.
