Role and Facility Information

Interior Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacy Specialist | Community to join the Pharmacy Team at the local Community Health Services Centre in Kelowna, BC. This position is Permanent Part Time (0.60 FTE) working three days per week, 08:00 to 16:00.

Effective November 22, 2024, the noted rate and classification on this posting will no longer be accurate. This position will be classified as P2BS, Wage Schedule N. The pay rate will be $53.31 to $66.63.

Applicable positions may qualify for up to $15,000 as a recruitment incentive.

What Will You Work On?
Working within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment, the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist acts as a clinical pharmacy resource by providing consultation services to internal and external health care professionals and organizations in the assigned pharmacotherapy practice area.

This position develops, plans, organizes and evaluates clinical programs, quality assurance activities, administrative support, teaching, and research activities, and provides and oversees the provision of pharmaceutical care of patients in the assigned pharmacotherapy practice area. This pharmacist will support departmental and regional pharmacy initiatives through collaboration with local and regional pharmacy leaders and managers, physicians, and nursing leaders to achieve overall goals and objectives.
