Position Summary
Care Centre, located in Kelowna, B.C., has an immediate permanent part-time (0.94 FTE) Physiotherapist opening. Days of work are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Shift times are 09:00-21:00 and 13:00-21:00.

About the position:
Physiotherapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

About this location
Urgent and Primary Care Centres provide care for people without a Primary Care Provider, or who may not able to access their regular provider in a timely manner. The UPCC is staffed by a dynamic multidisciplinary team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Social Work, MHSU clinicians and administrative support.
The largest and liveliest lakeshore community in the Okanagan, Kelowna is well-known as a year round outdoor playground. Kelowna’s sunny weather, spectacular scenery, lakes, canyons and many attractions are the perfect combination for those who enjoy an active lifestyle and an urban setting.

Qualifications
Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
Valid BC Driver’s license
