Here’s your chance to design your rural medicine practice within an established, well-appointed and low-overhead Clinic. The Midway Medical Clinic is well served with a P/T Primary Care Network RN, a P/T Primary Care, remote Social Worker and an experienced MOA already onboard. The Clinic is bright and spacious including a procedure room for excisions, injections etc., two examination rooms, a large office space, two bathrooms and another large multipurpose area. A typical ~3-4-day workweek allows plenty of time for adventures, relaxing, sports, family time, gardening, whatever you enjoy!

The Clinic opportunities are flexible to meet your needs as the new Practitioner. This financially rewarding practice can combine a healthy mix of office visits, telehealth, home visits, Parkview Manor senior’s facility visits, and if desired, the opportunity to do ER shifts, in-patient and LTC at the Boundary District Hospital in nearby Grand Forks.

Midway is a welcoming village in the Boundary region of Southern British Columbia, along the Crowsnest Highway 3 between Osoyoos and Grand Forks. Midway is centrally located between the Okanagan and the West Kootenays. Known for its scenic surroundings, friendly community, and relaxed pace, Midway is less than a 2-hour drive from Kelowna, Penticton, and Rossland/Trail for city life or shopping and is less than an hour from the world-famous vineyards in the Okanagan! Winter provides access to downhill skiing at Mount Baldy or the Phoenix Ski Hill within an hour. In addition, a two-hour drive offers Big White in Kelowna, Silver Star Resort or Apex in Penticton and Red Mountain Resort in Rossland. Our village offers a true small-town experience; strong community connections and surprising amenities usually found in a larger centre.

Midway Medical Clinic provides primary care services to the local population and surrounding area. The clinic works collaboratively with the Midway Interior Health facility and the Community Paramedic to support patient needs. You will be part of a small multidisciplinary team that values accessibility, collegiality, continuity, and patient-centred care. The Clinic has established a reputation for being a warm and welcoming space over its 35 years of serving the area.

Current rural incentives rates are subject to change annually but existing rates are confirmed at time of offer. CME funding to max of $5,720 after 4 years. Candidates with a BC or Canada student loan may be eligible for loan forgiveness programs.
