As the regional Trauma and ICU Referral Centre, we handle complex cases that will test and expand your skills and expertise. Vacation Leave

With flexible scheduling, you'll have ample time to recharge and unwind.

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:

Retention Premium

11.48%

Retention Flat Fee

$17,421

Relocation Funding Available

$9,000 if moving within BC, $12,000 within Canada, and $15,000 from outside Canada

Recruitment Incentive

$15,000, prorated for physicians working less than full time.

Other Benefits/Incentives

With RCME, you’ll be eligible to receive $440 for up to 2 years in Trail, $2,640 during your 3rd and 4th year, and $4,840 after 4 years, in addition to the Doctors of BC CME funds. Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
