Specialty Nurse Practitioner

Role and Facility Information

Come join a vibrant team of women providing Primary Care the way it was meant to be!

Grow Health is a team of doctors who specialize in Family Practice and Maternity Care in Victoria, BC. We work with an amazing Medical Office Assistant team and have in-house Pediatric consultants as well. At Grow, we strive to provide care in an open-minded, non-judgmental way. We embrace diversity, a holistic approach to health, use evidenced-based medicine, and, most importantly, we want the patient to be at the center of the decisions we make together in the office. We see people of all ages and complexities with a focus on women and children’s health.

We are recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of primary care providers. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own panel of patients and will have autonomy on how and when they work to serve this panel. If it is desired, the team at Grow can very much help the candidate build their practice as we have done for several of our providers in the past. There would certainly be an opportunity to have a practice that carries a good number of women and children if that is preferred by the candidate. Currently our family physicians work as a collaborative team to brainstorm difficult clinical situations, to cross-cover each other's patients who need to be seen urgently, to cover after hours patient care, and to generally help each other out and boost each other up! We hope the Nurse Practitioner who joins our team will also want to be a part of this collaboration and expect that they would find it both rewarding and fun!

At Grow Health our vision is providing truly exceptional care to our patients in a way that also provides their care providers with joy, purpose, and satisfaction. We are grassroots, we are innovative, we believe firmly in the value of primary care to our community, we don't settle for good enough, and we have a whole lot of fun doing all the above. Come join us!

Additional Information:

This will be up to the successful candidate as work hours can be very flexible. Grow is open 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday and we are also open some evenings until 8:30pm and some Saturday afternoons. We ask each of our care providers to consider doing one to two evenings or weekend afternoons per month but this is not mandated. Many of our providers enjoy this flexibility as it suits lifestyles that have busy schedules. Virtual care is also supported at Grow.
