Role and Facility Information

Our practice is delighted to be recruiting a full-time full-service Family Nurse Practitioner. We are the family practice group within the Aroga Multidisciplinary Clinic in the Westshore of Victoria, BC - directly across the road from Victoria General Hospital Emergency Room.

We are looking to welcome a new FNP colleague with strong interpersonal and clinical skills eager to join our team and build their practice to the standard BC provincial panel size. We provide full service primary care, with the exception of maternity and would welcome almost any focus of practice from our new colleague. Attachment will be from the Health Connect Registry.

The Nurse Practitioner must comply with the Order of the Provincial Health Officer in relation to Hospital and Community (Health Care and Other Services) COVID-19 Vaccination Status Information and Preventative Measures, as may be amended, which requires all staff members working in a care location to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The Nurse Practitioner will maintain sufficient and appropriate documentation to support its compliance, and will make such documentation available to the Agency if requested.

This amazing clinic, built in 2019, hosts a variety of medical and allied health practices in a team-based care environment. Our family practitioners work alongside teammates in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Pediatrics, Sleep Medicine and more. The Internal Medicine practice runs a 5-day-per week cardiac diagnostics lab that includes in-house exercise stress testing, Holter testing, 14-day event monitors and ECG. Our specialist colleagues are available for hallway and very rapid (same or next day) consultations and are a phenomenal resource for anybody new to independent practice.
