West Memorial Medical is a tight-knit clinic benefiting from services available through the area's primary care network such as in-clinic pharmacist and RN. Three existing practices within this group are looking for a full-time physician to take on an existing practice in a supportive and collaborative setting. This particular practice has four family physicians and is looking for another full-time physician to share overhead. Clinic staffed with 3 MOAs and Practice Nurse (RN). The clinic is located within walking distance of Parksville downtown shops, restaurants, and services, and is walking distance to the Parksville beach boardwalk. This extremely well-managed practice uses the popular MedAccess EMR.

Overhead is split amongst the practices. Ranges from $6,500 to $7,500 per month. No overhead charge for out of office services.

Hospital Privileges, long term care, and maternity care are available.

- 1 March 2026

Benefits:

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including (subject to change):

- Recruitment Incentive: up to a maximum of $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE)
- Relocation: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Flat fee: $7,159.68
- Fee Premium: 4.62%
- CME: $2,200/annum year 3-4 and $4,400/annum after 4 years in the community.
