We have full-time, part-time and temporary opportunities in large urban hospitals and rural/remote hospitals – plus everything in between!
In this role, some of your duties will include:
- assess, record and report the health status of assigned patients/residents
- collaborate with the nursing team, community care partners, and the patient/resident and family to develop and modify a patient/resident care plan
- establish short and long-term health status goals
- provide nursing care
- evaluate patient/resident response to the care by assessing the effect of the nursing
interventions identified in the care plan and modifying interventions as appropriate
- contribute to the ongoing development of the nursing department and/or nursing unit
- perform other related duties as assigned.
The hourly starting salary is $41.42 with additional shift premiums that are offered depending on eligibility. You are eligible for shift premiums if you own a regular line, or during hours worked that were on-call, nights, evenings and weekends.

To be considered, the following are required once you complete your studies:
- Eligibility for provisional licensure or current and active registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing RN registrant or a practicing RPN registrant.
- Recognized post-basic education required for some clinical areas, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic Life Support, Level C.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required for some clinical settings (e.g. Emergency Room).
