Role and Facility Information

The Medical Clinic is seeking GPs to add to its Walk-in shift roster. At your convenience we offer full shifts Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm or partial shifts from 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm. Accommodations can be made for GPs wishing to work outside of these hours. Knowledgeable upbeat staff and our naturally-lit modern interior, this Walk-in Clinic offers a uniquely varied patient demographic who present with a diversity of issues.

Walk-in Doctors at this clinic are currently paid under the South Island Walk in Clinic Short-Term Stabilization Contract. Physicians are paid an hourly rate for both direct and indirect patient care (charting, labs, etc…) with no overhead cost.

• Patient volume: 3-6 per hour, dependent on individual physician preference

• EMR | Intrahealth

• Patients may be seen via telemedicine, or in-person

• 5 family practices also operate in this clinic

• 5 MOAs, and a clinic manager

• 2 walk-in clinic rooms per physician

• Dedicated computer for physician use, with wireless, high-speed internet

• FREE parking
