Specialty Family Practitioner/General Practitioner

Subspecialty General

Role and Facility Information

This is a full service family practice position providing longitudinal care. Each physician in the clinic has control over their own practice and patients. We have 2 exam rooms each, a bright sunny shared office space, the ability to do minor surgical procedures (biopsies, lumps and bumps, and IUDs and endometrial biopsies). We are currently not open extended hours but are happy to discuss changing the hours if support staff can be arranged. We have been providing full obstetrical care including labor and delivery however this is optional.

This is less of a clinic setting and more of a shared space with individual practices. We teach residents and medical students and have had a number of International Grads in that capacity. We currently have a PRA-BC return of service physician who has fit in well and has had no problem growing her practice.

This position would involve taking over the practice of one of our physicians who is ready to retire but would like to transition her patients over a year and would be happy to stay on in a part time or locum capacity.
