Role and Facility Information

RJH psychiatry hospitalists are a consultant service who work closely with the psychiatrists who are the MRP (both adult and geriatric psychiatrists). RJH psychiatry hospitalists provide medical care to patients on the psychiatric floors including psychiatric emergency and the wards, provide admission consults for all patients admitted to psychiatry ward and round each ward for any medical concerns that may arise, consulting medical specialists if needed. The successful candidate may be required to provide after hours on call services from 1700-0800, promptly responding to phone calls from nursing/psychiatry re: acute medical issues and coming in to assess the patient (infrequent).

Additional Information

Part-time/locum (typically 5 weekdays per month +/- occasional weekend).

Preferably looking to hire someone who can commit ~ 1 week/month, but may be flexible
