Locum opportunity at a paradise family practice, with waterfront office on acreage located right on the Pacific Ocean beach, in Greater Victoria, BC. Expansive office has sunny, spacious rooms overlooking the oceanfront panoramas.
Five clinic rooms, that are up to four times larger than standard rooms.
Take the stairs down to the sandy beach that is out in front of the medical office, for lunch or for an exercise break.
Oscar EMR. Paperless. Digital faxing.
Private office rooms for reviewing labs or doing private telemedicine calls.
Pleasant patient population, all-ages. In-person appointments and some phone telemedicine. Closed practice, with no walk-in component. All patients have up-to-date continuous patient profiles, and proper follow-up with their regular family doctor at the end of the locum period.
Experienced team of 2 and a half full-time equivalent medical office assistants (MOAs) for three full-time equivalent family doctors. This small ratio of MOAs to doctors helps the day flow well.
Experienced family physician colleagues are always on site.
Flexible start and finish work times for the day. Flexible start and stop days/weeks for your desired period working as a locum.
Attractively low overhead split.
Academic teaching site provides optional opportunity for precepting of medical students and residents.
