Designed with innovation, collaboration and healing in mind, this modern facility will offer expanded services and a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Multiple opportunities are available now. Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 may be available for eligible candidates. Provincial and/or Federal Student Loan Forgiveness programs may be available for eligible candidates.

Salary Range (Hourly Rate): $41.42 - $59.52

What We’re Looking For:

-Current registration, or eligible to register, with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing RN registrant
-Basic Life Support, Level C (required for general duty nursing roles)
-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and relevant specialty certification (required for Critical Care, Emergency, and Intensive Care positions)

About Cowichan District Hospital

Cowichan District Hospital has been proudly serving the Cowichan Valley for over 50 years as part of the Island Health network. The new hospital, opening in 2027, will enhance capacity, streamline patient care, and feature sustainable, modern design - becoming B.C.'s first fully electric hospital, built to LEED Gold standards.

The design incorporates input from staff, patients, and Indigenous partners to create a healing environment that fosters well-being and strengthens connections to nature. The Cowichan Valley offers a variety of welcoming communities from charming seaside villages to vibrant town centres, all within easy reach of Duncan.
