Northern Health is seeking an experienced Family Practice-Anesthetist (FPA) to provide full-scope Family Medicine and advanced skills GP-Anesthesia in Dawson Creek. The community has several Family Medicine clinics, all working cooperatively and providing a full spectrum of patient services.

Emergency Room shifts also available if qualified.

Core specialties available: Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, Surgery, and Psychiatry. Other opportunities for advanced skills in addition to GPA include Oncology, Maternity and Emergency.

Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. The Emergency Room sees 22,000+ visits per year. Hospital services include:

Relocation funding available: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC.
