Northern Health is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Preference will be given to Radiologists who wish to make Dawson Creek their year-round home; however, a blended job plan including partial remote work would be negotiable with a Radiologist or group that can meet our patients’ needs.
Potential additional income in the Northeast region includes vacation coverage for Fort St John (two Radiologists).
Dawson Creek has a new hospital build in the works and we anticipate opening in 2027. Radiology services at Dawson Creek Hospital include:
• Interventional Radiology
• MRI (TBA)
• CT scanners multi detector/multi slice/Dual energy
• Breast Imaging Centre with tomosynthesis mammography
• Ultrasound
• X-Ray
• Nuclear Medicine
Prospective Radiologists MUST be proficient in mammography and basic image guided procedures. Modalities available include Fluoroscopy, ultrasound, mammography, CT, nuclear medicine and MRI.
Candidates must hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in radiology (FRCPC) and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC).

Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full service community hospital that provides service to a catchment area of approximately 26,000. Other local Specialists include Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, OB/Gyn, Internal Medicine, and Psychiatry. The hospital has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Services include:
