MOCAP Level 1 for On-Call.
MSP Premium 23.10% + $35,798.40 Annual Bonus (Flat Fee).

Your opportunity to help build a robust Orthopaedic service in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, a vibrant city of 13,000 serving a catchment area of 70,000. We are seeking a General Orthopaedic Surgeon with skills in Primary THA and Primary TKA. You would also run a fracture clinic once a week. There is presently one Ortho in Fort St John (75 km away).

Dawson Creek has a new hospital build underway and we anticipate it opening in 2027. The new hospital will have an MRI.

Currently, Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Services include:

• 24/7 emergency

• General surgery
• Day surgery
• Medical and surgical in-patient care
• Lab
• Respiratory therapy
• Diabetic education
• Primary care
• Cancer care
