Northern Health is seeking a psychiatrist for the beautiful ocean side community of Prince Rupert.
This is an opportunity to join the Northwest Psychiatry Team providing services to Prince Rupert, Terrace, Smithers and surrounding communities. Working in a community mental health team, the psychiatrist, in close consultation with family physicians will:
• Provide patient assessments and treatment planning
• Provide ongoing patient centered consultation and education to physicians and interdisciplinary mental health teams to advance effective treatment.
• Participate in provision of area-based continuum of psychiatric services including assessment of patients in the regional hospital observation unit.
