Role and Facility Information

Excellent family practice opportunity in Port Hardy, or Port McNeill, in a group practice in a fully owned and operated Island Health facility. This is an exciting opportunity to practice rural health, and to join colleagues that include neighboring rural physicians in providing full spectrum Primary Care to Emergency Services in the Mount Waddington region.

The successful candidate will provide longitudinal primary care to patients in the community. There is a requirement to provide on-call ER coverage, on average six to eight on-call shifts per month.

Additional Information:

Various remuneration models available depending on site, including: Fee-For –Service, Longitudinal Family Practice Payment Model, New to Practice or APP clinical service contract.

You are also offered additional monetary incentives such a medical on call payments.

Hours of work Flexible, Primary Care Clinics open Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm.

Remuneration FFS, LFP, NTP, clinical service contract
