Join Island Health as a Registered Nurse at Port Hardy Hospital on Vancouver Island.

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to clients and is responsible and accountable for coordinating and administering direct client care utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse provides direction to staff and volunteers, and responds to emergency situations to safeguard clients, visitors and staff in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BC College of Nurses and Midwives Standards for Nursing Practice.

What you will need to apply:
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
• Two years of recent, related experience.
• Valid BC Drivers License.
• Basic Life Support, Level C required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Emergency Room, ICU and Critical Care preferred.
