Role and Facility Information
The South Okanagan Similkameen Division of Family Practice has partnered with the Ministry of Health, Interior Health Authority, and the Osoyoos Indian Band to create a Primary Care Network that addresses the health care needs of our community.
Nurse Practitioners in our Primary Care Network practise autonomously and interdependently within the existing primary care provider network.
Bring your clinical expertise and passion for providing quality, compassionate care to a challenging and rewarding role as a Nurse Practitioner for the Primary Care Network (PCN) in the South Okanagan, where a cohesive network of full-service providers delivers all aspects of primary care to the community.
This 1.0 FTE NP position is based in a team-based, walk-in clinic in Oliver that serves Osoyoos Indian Band members as well as patients from the broader public. The practice is currently home to 1 GP and 2 NPs, all supported by a dedicated team of MOAs.
As an NP in the South Okanagan Similkameen, you will be supported by our Division of Family Practice clinic support team in establishing your practice - just as they have done for others. You will also be welcomed to join the Division as a full voting member.
Applications are invited from candidates with:
• Current provisional/practising registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Relevant clinical nursing experience
