Role and Facility Information
One full-time or 2 part-time physicians required as soon as possible to take over a well-established family practice with a panel of appx. 1,500 in a bright, newly-renovated building with low overhead, shared with a room available for doing procedures, a pharmacy, other doctors, specialists and services. The current physician is actively moving toward retirement and is happy to stay on during the transition time.
This is also an opportunity to form a group practice with co-located physicians, as well as work with a group of local physician's who cover each other during vacate on times. This modern clinic with 2 experienced MOA's uses MedAccess EMR and is also looking to bring in a nurse in practice to round out the team!
West Coast General Hospital is located 5 min. away. There are options to participate in obstetrics, anesthesia, ER,hospitalist, long-term care, palliative care and more as well as having access to many allied services. There are many opportunities to diversify your practice with NITAOP program for visiting rural, more remote communities such as Bamfield; doing private Transport Canada Medicals for Aviation and Marine Medicine; Immigration medicals, infant circumcision procedures (can be done in our building) and vasectomies (at WCGH).
