Island Health is hiring a full-time General Duty Nurse (ICU) at West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni.
Job Description
As the General Duty Nurse, you will assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards.
What You Will Need to Apply
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) or registration in another Canadian province.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Two years of recent, related experience.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
