About the Position
As an Occupational Therapist with Island Health, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Your clinical skills, leadership and compassion will make a direct impact on the wellbeing of the communities we serve.

In a home-like environment and working without general supervision, the Occupational Therapist, Long-Term Care assesses, plans, provides and evaluates the clinical occupational therapy program for residents to maximize their wellness and mobility. Supervises designated staff. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, educates other health professionals and residents in various aspects of occupational therapy related to resident care.

What You Will Need to Apply
- Graduation from a recognized university program in Occupational Therapy.
- Current licensure with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as an Occupational Therapist.
- Knowledge of current Occupational standards, modalities and scope of practice.
- 3 years of recent, related experience (or equivalent).

- Competitive salary: $42.56 - $52.95 per hour plus applicable shift differentials.
