Role and Facility Information

We are hiring a Physiotherapist for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C.

Days of work: Tuesdays to Fridays; Wednesday to Friday to align with every 6th week to align with 1:6 acute care weekend rotation
Shift times: 08:00 to 16:00

About this position:
The focus of the permanent, part-time (0.86 FTE) position is Outpatient Rehab where you’ll support clients’ mobility, strength, post‑injury/surgery recovery, and physical function.

A Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
