Our clinic is seeking a Family Physician to join our multidisciplinary, trauma-informed primary care team in Prince George, British Columbia.
This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is passionate about health equity, team-based care, and supporting patients who face significant barriers to accessing healthcare.
Since 2002, we have provided compassionate, community-based care to vulnerable populations and to people without a family doctor or nurse practitioner.
Opportunity Summary
The clinic provides a primary care home for people living with complex challenges, including housing insecurity, transportation barriers, trauma histories, racism and discrimination, food insecurity, language and literacy limitations, and mental health or substance use concerns.
Our clinic is grounded in equity, compassion, and trauma-informed practice. We work to create a care environment where patients are met with dignity, empathy, and respect.
Team and Practice Environment
You will join a collaborative team that includes family physicians, nurse practitioners, a mental health clinician, a social worker, a life skills worker, a pharmacist, medical office assistants, and a team lead.
We operate through a collaborative partnership between Northern Health and the Prince George Division of Family Practice and functions as one integrated team.

Qualifications
• Eligible for College of Family Physicians of Canada certification (CCFP)
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)

• Comfortable working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting
