We are hiring a Physiotherapist for the Saddle Mountain Medical Clinic (SMM) in Nakusp, B.C.

Days of work: Rotating

Shift times: 08:30 to 16:30

About this position:

The permanent, part-time (0.50 FTE) Primary Care Physiotherapist position offers a close working relationship with physicians and other health professionals, fostering integrated, multidisciplinary care. This role will involve treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, supporting recovery and enhancing patient mobility and quality of life.

This position is responsible for working in collaboration with an inter-professional care team and defined network of PCN Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nursing and other members of the Allied Health team. The goal is to conduct integrated care planning, offer client assessments/clinic visits and provide ongoing monitoring and self-management support follow-up for clients (i.e. adults, seniors, pediatrics) and/or those with multiple chronic conditions, either in an individual or group setting and often directly within the Physician/Nurse Practitioner. You will see clients, utilizing therapeutic inventions that contribute to providing wider and quicker access to services for patients with chronic and musculoskeletal conditions and/or barriers to exercise.
