The Opportunity
The Surrey-North Delta Primary Care Network (PCN) is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join a community-based team providing primary and perinatal care at the Surrey Maternity Centre (SMC) (formerly Surrey Prenatal Clinic) and Freya Clinic.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine longitudinal primary care, high-quality perinatal experience, and team-based learning within one of the most established maternity clinics in the region. You will support patients through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, while working in a collaborative, well-supported environment that values both patient care and clinician growth.

Why This Is a Unique Opportunity
This position is based at the Surrey Maternity Centre (SMC) — one of the largest maternity clinics of its kind in Canada — and the Freya Clinic, both offering an exceptional clinical environment for Nurse Practitioners with an interest in maternity and primary care.
Surrey Maternity Centre (SMC) is a physician-led, community-based maternity clinic, providing a highly collaborative and responsive practice environment where clinicians have meaningful input into how care is delivered and how services evolve. You will join a team of 13 experienced maternity physicians in a clinic known for its strong culture of collaboration, mentorship, and shared learning. SMC’s high-volume, diverse patient population offers unparalleled exposure to a wide range of prenatal and postpartum clinical scenarios.
Freya Clinic Freya Clinic is a modern, women’s health–focused primary care clinic located in the heart of Surrey, committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate, patient-centred care through a collaborative, team-based approach. At this clinic, you will not only have the opportunity to practice continuity of care by building long-term therapeutic relationships but support women across their reproductive lifespan. This includes care not only in pregnancy but postpartum and beyond. The clinic’s supportive and inclusive environment allows clinicians to practice at the top of their scope, build and manage longitudinal patient panels, and contribute meaningfully to the health of their community.

As a Nurse Practitioner at SMC and Freya, you will:
• Learn and refine advanced perinatal assessment and management skills through daily collaboration with expert physicians
• Build confidence managing prenatal and postpartum care within a supportive, team-based environment
• Practice in a clinic where learning, professional development, and clinical excellence are actively encouraged
• Contribute meaningfully to improving access to perinatal and primary care for unattached and underserved patients in the community
• You will have the opportunity to build and manage your own longitudinal patient panel, providing continuity of care to patients through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
• Collaborate closely with family physicians, nurses and allied health professionals
• Contribute to innovative care models and quality improvement initiatives
• Be part of a welcoming, inclusive clinic culture that values professional growth
This role is ideal for Nurse Practitioners who are passionate about maternity care and are seeking an environment where growth, collaboration, and impact are central to the work.
