Role and Facility Information

The Fraser Urology North (FUN) group is looking to add a member to the team. We are looking to recruit a physician with specialization of complex kidney stone and Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP). This new physician would become the physician champion of the acute care stone program with the idea of having acute care ESWL access at our Jim Pattison Outpatient & Surgery Centre.

Increased on-call volumes, population growth, and the planned expansion of the hospital have resulted in the need for this position. Elective OR resources are to be shared with the existing members of the group. No new resources are associated with this posting. Access to the robotic platform will not be offered at the time of this posting.

Additionally, as a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Urology, UBC.

Qualifications:  CMPA | CPSBC eligible | FRCSC eligible

Compensation:  Fee for service | MOCAP

US board certified physicians, due to recent regulatory changes in British Columbia, may be eligible for full speciality class licensure through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia based on being certified as an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) member.
