Role and Facility Information

Fraser Health Authority (FHA), British Columbia's and Canada’s largest and fastest growing health authority, is seeking a qualified 1.0 FTE Pediatrician to join the medical staff at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre (ARHCC) providing urgent pediatric services.

This opportunity is designed to expand the existing community based pediatric practice at ARHCC. Applications from new graduates are welcome, and mentoring will be provided over two years to those applicants.

As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Pediatrics, UBC.

This role expands our community-based pediatric program and supports urgent pediatric care. New graduates are welcome; a two-year mentorship program is available.

About the Site

-18-bed pediatric unit, 13-bed level 2 NICU, and outpatient clinic area.
-Subspecialty clinics including Diabetes, Asthma, and Cardiology.
-Busy maternity program (~3,000 births/year) and active ED support.
-Strong collaboration with BC Children’s Hospital and regional hospitals.

-Provisional license applicants welcome (supervision available).

Provisional license is acceptable and supervision available.
