Chilliwack Youth Health Center
• A space that provides integrated health and wellness services to youth and young adults (ages 12-26) on a drop-in basis in a safe and supportive environment. (https://chilliwackyhc.com/).
• Clinics operate every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:00pm – 5:00pm.
• A sessional is paid for the full 3-hour shift.

The CYHC has two sites dedicated to wellness for youth and young adults ages 12-26 years. Youth don’t need a referral—it’s free, confidential, and drop-in. The team can address medical and mental health needs and can be seen for anything from acne to sexual health to counseling for issues related to anxiety, depression, substance use, gender identity, family conflict, peer conflict, school and life planning, and more!
The team includes family physicians, nurse practitioners, counselors, and a psychiatrist (referral required). The psychiatrist specializes in complex youth and young adults which could include those that are bipolar, schizophrenic, and/or have severe OCD, and likely require medication.
