The Clinic in Chilliwack is looking for new family physicians to join their team. Our office is a dynamic group of full service family doctors. We are a group of 5 individual practices, currently made up of 2 physician practice shares, 2 solo physician practices and one nurse practitioner practice. Many of our physicians have areas of speciality including resident teaching, women's health, obstetrics, dermatology, residential care, and hospitalist work.

We have a lovely new location which we moved into in September 2020 in downtown Chilliwack only one block from the hospital. We have a practice nurse who is funded by the division who is phenomenal at providing patients with great care. Her roles include routine PAPs, injections, ear syringing, chronic care reviews (asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension), warfarin reviews and dose changes, well baby checks, and recalling patients who are due their chronic care reviews. She also works with the providers for a daily triaging system which we have shown reduces ER and WIC visits for our patients. Our focus for the future is to build on our allied professionals and incorporate them as much as we can to primary care to provide a great standard of care within general practice. This allows allows for better practice coverage for maternity, sick or holiday leave.

We also have a well functioning staff of 4 MOAs with an experienced practice manager.

We are looking for part time or full time physicians to join our team. One of our care providers is looking for a practice share partner and another provider plans to relocate out of country in January 2024. We are a flexible group who like to ensure a good work-life balance for everyone. We would be open to other arrangements of work if you think our clinic would be a good match for you. We also would be open to nurse practitioners who are either very experienced or a graduate who may need some help and support throughout their first few years within primary care.

Our practice currently has 8 clinical rooms including a treatment room where we offer minor surgery, IUD insertions, nexplanon insertions and biopsies.

Both practices do maternity care and we also have the availability of our handheld USS machine.

Relocation Allowance is available from Fraser Health if you desire to care for your patients in hospital. There are also other incentives from the Division/Ministry of Health for in-patient networks.
