Rheumatologist
The Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre Department of Medicine is looking for TWO clinical Rheumatologists. The successful candidates will provide Rheumatology consultation services for the hospital. This position offers the opportunity to practice as a Rheumatologist in a tertiary care academic centre. The candidate will also be expected to be involved in teaching in General Rheumatology and participate in Journal Clubs, Rounds and other academic endeavours.
The positions are scheduled to start July 1, 2022 and remains open until filled.
The successful candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Must have passed the Royal College Examination in Internal Medicine & Rheumatology
He/she must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC
He/she must demonstrate evidence of sufficient clinical experience in all areas of Rheumatology
Experience and demonstrated skills in leadership, medical administration, and/or teaching will be considered an asset.
This position requires FRCPC in Rheumatology at the time of application.

Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC) is a 300-bed Canadian health care facility that houses the acute care Abbotsford Regional Hospital (ARH) operated by Fraser Health and the regional cancer facility (Abbotsford Centre) operated by the BC Cancer Agency.
