Dynamic collegial group of 13 family physicians supported by 1 RN working at the only medical clinic in Gibsons on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are fully computerized and enjoy a like-new facility.
Enjoy flexibility in a work-life balance, most physicians work anywhere from 12 - 24 hours in the clinic per week, although more time is available, and provide some hospital work at Sechelt Hospital (anesthesia, Emergency Room, obstetrics or hospitalist.) The amount of call is not onerous. Physicians may take 8 weeks vacation per year. The clinic is a training site for 2ndyear UBC Family Practice Residents and we regularly have medical students from UBC if teaching interests you.
Enjoy a leisure lifestyle filled with many recreational opportunities including hiking, mouontain biking, and winter sports locally and a 40 min ferry ride from Vancouver with access to Whistler.
