Request for Locum Tenens Renal Transplant Surgeons


Vancouver Coastal Health and Providence Health Care, in partnership with the Provincial Health Services Authority (BC Transplant), invite expression of interests for locum tenens Renal Transplant Surgeon positions with the Departments of Urology and Surgery and at Vancouver General and St. Paul’s Hospitals. The service coverage time required varies in the coming months.

The successful candidate will have advanced training and skills in renal transplant surgery, including peri-operative care. The individual will be presently capable of independent renal transplantation, including peri-operative care of renal transplant patients. The successful candidate must hold a certification in Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent, have completed fellowship training in renal transplantation, and have or be eligible for licensure by the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons.


Remuneration: A clinical services per diem, and travel and accommodations to be determined as necessary
