Role and Facility Information
Dynamic collegial group practice of 13 family physicians working at the only medical clinic in Gibsons, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
We are fully computerized and enjoy a great facility with amazing support staff. Physicians work in the clinic and provide hospital work (Anaesthesia, Emergency Room(ER), Obstetrics or Inpatient care), the hours are flexible with a minimum of 12 hours in the office and max of 40 hours per week.
Enjoy a fabulous work life balance with many recreational opportunities locally and a 40-minute ferry ride from Vancouver with easy access to Whistler.
The clinic is also a training site for 2nd year UBC Family Practice Residents and 3rd & 4th year Medical Students.

We have recently switched our billing to the LFP model, so this is what you would be billing while working in the clinic.
If applicants also do any Emergency Shifts, anaestethia, OB call, or Hospitlist weekend rounds while Locuming at the clinic, you will be paid sessionally from VCH with no overhead paid back to the clinic.
