Fraser Health is looking for experienced RNs to join our innovative team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre’s Emergency Department.

About Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre:
Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre is a 302 bed, University of British Columbia affiliated hospital offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, inpatient pediatrics, renal, cardiology, orthopaedics, neurology, psychiatry, tertiary palliative care, helipad, as well as 24/7 emergency and ICU services. We serve as the local referral centre for Fraser East and the ER handles 77,032 visits annually.

The hospital recently underwent a renovation and redesign of its Emergency Department that now includes a dedicated area for mental health and substance use care, three new state of the art trauma bays, a new nursing substation, and two new physician work areas, among other features, to help improve patient flow and experience.

Abbotsford is a flourishing community with breath-taking scenic views. The city offers a variety of outdoor activities – downhill skiing, white water rafting, sturgeon fishing, hot-springs, camping, mountain-top hiking, etc. Abbotsford is close to an urban centre and 60 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Education and Experience:
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Completion of applicable post graduate course work in emergency, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in emergency.
